MS/HS Family and Consumer Sciences

Hello! My name is Julie Martin and I am so pleased to be the New Glarus Middle and High School Family and Consumer Sciences and Health teacher. My goal for all students is that they leave the doors of NGHS with life skills that will help make them responsible and reliable members of society. I love the courses I teach as I strongly believe in the importance of Family and Consumer Sciences and Career and Technical Education. I chose this field so I could prepare students for life and equip them with skills they can use not only as teenagers, but as future adults. When I am not enjoying my days of teaching I love to explore different parts of Madison, fish the Wisconsin lakes, scrapbook, and try new fish fries around the state of Wisconsin. Yes, I am a huge Wisconsin fan! I hope to see you in a few classes throughout your years at NGMS and NGHS!
