İHola! My name is Peter Belsky and I have been teaching Exploratory Spanish at New Glarus Middle School since the 2010-2011 school year. I grew up in a multi-ethnic neighborhood on the south side of Milwaukee, so starting at an early age I had an interest in different languages. I graduated from Cudahy High School and then went on to study at a number of different schools – UW-Milwaukee, Cardinal Stritch College, Medical College of Georgia, UW-Madison, and Edgewood College. Along the way I achieved certification as a Lab Tech, and achieved a BSN and Physician Assistant degrees. As I was studying for my degrees, I enrolled in Spanish classes as well because I enjoyed them so much. Before I knew it, I accumulated enough credits in Spanish to earn a Spanish Major. Eventually, after working for many years in the medical profession, I completed a Spanish Teaching Major and began teaching Spanish grades 6-12.
