In response to the ever-increasing need for blood, we are asking for your support and participation in our upcoming blood drive. Besides encouraging your son or daughter (age 16 and up) to donate blood at our upcoming school blood drive on Friday, June 1st from noon to 6 p.m., we are inviting you to donate blood as well.

The 8th Annual Community Fest - Running of the Swiss Fun Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, May 26th at Glarner Park, behind the NG Fire Station. Proceeds benefit the Youth of New Glarus.
The Kid's Fun Run will begin at 9:00 am and the 5K Fun Run/Walk will follow at 9:30 am. Both will start and finish at Glarner Park. A registration form and online registration (new this year) is available at: www.ngmusicfest.com

The New Glarus School District hired Jeff Eichelkraut as the new principal for the New Glarus High School on January 29, 2012, and is welcoming alum Mark Stateler (NGHS, '93) as the Middle School principal on July 1.
