Help Save Lives – FBLA/FCCLA-Sponsored Red Cross Blood Drive!
Parents and community members, we invite you to take part in a life-saving opportunity at the Red Cross Blood Drive on Monday, June 8th, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM in the New Glarus High School Gymnasium.
This is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact. Blood donations are urgently needed, and your contribution could help trauma patients, infants, or those battling illness in our community.
In addition to standard blood donations, we are especially encouraging Power Red Donations. This type of donation collects two units of red blood cells while safely returning plasma and platelets to your body. These donations are incredibly valuable and are used for patients in critical need.
Power Red Donor Requirements:
🔸 Blood Type: O+, O−
🔸 Men: At least 17 years old, 5’1”, 130 lbs
🔸 Women: At least 19 years old, 5’5”, 150 lbs

It was an incredible opportunity for our students to get a behind-the-scenes look at the justice system. They spent the day engaging in insightful discussions with:

Probation and Parole Supervisor Jeb Searls
The Honorable Faun Phillipson
To cap off the visit, the class observed a live plea and sentencing hearing, seeing the legal process in action.

There is nothing quite like the sound of a diesel engine and the sight of a slow-moving convoy to remind everyone where our food, fiber, and fuel come from. Today, our New Glarus FFA members are trading the car keys for ignition keys and bringing a little bit of the farm to the New Glarus High School parking lot! 🌾
This tradition is more than just a fun ride; it’s a tribute to the hard work, heritage, and future of American agriculture. Whether it’s a vintage heirloom or the latest high-tech machine, every tractor tells a story of a family and a community that keeps us all growing.
