Shout out to the Algebra 1 students on the Chapter 4 Review! Student partners collected a ticket (post-it) for each learning target successfully completed on the review. The pair could choose their lucky lottery number. Fifth hour nearly had the board complete! A random number generator then selected the prize winners. Lots of engagement, lots of competition, lots of learning!
Congratulations to our RoboKnights Team "The Waffle Turtles!" They took 2nd place at the recent Robotics Coopertition which qualified them for the sectional tournament this weekend. Good luck Waffle Turtles!
New Glarus 8th Graders recently competed in the 3rd annual poetry slam style contest as a culmination of their trimester-long study of poetry and poetic expression. There were divisions for co-written and performed poems and individual poems. Champions were crowned in each of these categories as well as the coveted class championship for the ELA class with the highest total points.
Leah Missig won the individual championship
Claire Mondlach, Eloise Czerwonka, and Mya Clark won the group championship
6th hour won the class championship
The contest was a rousing success!

New Glarus High School students Jayce and Addie painted this Periodic Table in their Senior Studio Art Class that will hang in Ms. Colby's Chemistry classroom. Pretty cool don't you think?
New Glarus Elementary fourth graders completed their Middle Ages unit with a project using the Illuminated Alphabet! They designed their own letters using their initials, incorporating designs and pictures that represented themselves. We are so proud of the beautiful works they created!
