New Glarus High School Choir students are participating in the 74th annual Dorian Vocal Festival at Luther College in Decorah, IA on Jan 7-8th. The students will perform with over 900 high school students from IL, IN, MN, WI and IA for 2 days and perform in the Grand Concert on Monday at 12:00pm. Congratulations to New Glarus Middle School 7th grade student Lucy for winning the Spelling Bee last night! Runner up was 4th grader Emmett! Way to go!
The elementary school received their new booking vending machine this morning! Students will be able to earn tokens to redeem for books once the vending machine is stocked. Very exciting!

Lots of progress has been made on the new athletic complex across from the high school, thanks in part to the nice warm weather we've been having! So far just over $842,000 has been raised towards the project. Thanks to all those who have donated.

Shout out to the Algebra 1 students on the Chapter 4 Review! Student partners collected a ticket (post-it) for each learning target successfully completed on the review. The pair could choose their lucky lottery number. Fifth hour nearly had the board complete! A random number generator then selected the prize winners. Lots of engagement, lots of competition, lots of learning!
Congratulations to our RoboKnights Team "The Waffle Turtles!" They took 2nd place at the recent Robotics Coopertition which qualified them for the sectional tournament this weekend. Good luck Waffle Turtles!
