Name: Primary Gym

Building: New Glarus Elementary School

Primary Uses: Basketball, Volleyball, Indoor Games/Activities, etc.

Description: Built in the 2024-25 school year, this gym is a great space for youth sports or high school practices. The bleachers can seat ~100 fans, making it a good venue for lower level or youth games. Baskets can be lowered for more skill level appropriate basketball practices/games.

Name: Intermediate Gym

Building: New Glarus Elementary School

Address: 19 14th Ave

Primary Uses: Basketball, Volleyball, Baseball, Indoor Games/Activities, etc.

Description: The oldest gym in the district, this space was once the home of all Glarner Knight varsity level basketball and volleyball games. The bleachers can seat ~250 fans. The gym features hooks on the ends that can support indoor batting cages which are used by both JV/Varsity and youth baseball programs.

Name: MPR (Mutli-Purpose Room)

Building: New Glarus Middle School

Address: 1619 2nd St

Primary Uses: Basketball, Volleyball, Pickleball, Indoor Games/Activities, etc.

Description: The MPR is used for JV2 level volleyball games in the fall and JV2 basketball games in the winter. The floor is a hard rubber surface, which is great for a wide variety of indoor activities. There are three pickleball courts painted on the floor (singles and doubles). The bleachers can seat ~100 fans in the MPR.

Name: High School Gym

Building: New Glarus High School

Address: 1701 2nd St

Primary Uses: Basketball, Volleyball, Pickleball, Indoor Games/Activities, etc.

Description: With bleacher space for ~800, the HS Gym is the primary space for the varsity level volleyball and basketball programs. In 2022, New Glarus packed the gym as a neutral site host of the WIAA Div 3 Volleyball Sectional Finals.
