
Thank you, our families, for attending our annual Holiday Luncheon at New Glarus Elementary School yesterday. The luncheon was a tremendous success! Over 1285 meals were served and the entertainment by our students was awesome! Thank you to members of our community for serving. Thank you to alumni Alivia Palmer (Class of 2021) for speaking to our CCR (College & Career Readiness) class recently. Alivia spoke to students about her college journey at UW-Stevens Point pursuing a degree in Family and Consumer Sciences (Child Life and Family Studies). She talked about her experience finding the right college for her, choosing the right major, intra-mural sports, on-campus jobs, student organizations, and more.


Local contractors who worked on the new athletic field press box, ticket booth, and sign were recognized by the New Glarus Board of Education on Monday night. Thank you all for your time and work in creating some beautiful structures and sign for our new athletic field. Everything looks great!

This week is National School Psychologist's Week. Today, we celebrate our School Psychologist, Ms. Russ. Your compassion, expertise, and commitment make lasting impacts on our students. Thank you, Ms. Russ, for being a champion of student success at New Glarus School District!


The Raise Your Voice club met last week to decorate cards for residents at the New Glarus Home. They made notes to spread positivity and joy and to brighten the resident's day. Junior Jordan Oehlhof, who works at the home, delivered the cards to the residents. The Raise Your Voice club is a club dedicated to raising mental health awareness and breaking the stigma by spreading joy and happiness!


Congratulations to the math team on their performance at the 2024 UW Platteville Math Meet! The mathletes had a small squad but scored well individually and as a team. New Glarus brought home second place falling to Poynette, which rostered a full team of 14 compared to our 8. NGHS scored stronger than 12 other teams in Division 3.
Individual high scoring mathletes received medals, those included Eli Smith, Clayton Streiff, Patrick Sheridan, Azik Weisheit, Colton Hendrickson, and Ryder Ziperski.

New Glarus High School will be hosting a Veteran's Day Program on Monday, November 11th at 10:30 am. The program will be held in the High School Gymnasium. A luncheon for all Veterans in attendance will be held in the High School Library immediately following the program. Thank you to all of our local veterans who have served our country.


New Glarus Trick or Treat hours are October 31st from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Look for Chief Sturdevant and other NGPD officers around town. They'll be handing out glow stick necklaces to all Trick or Treaters. Happy Halloween everyone!


Child Development Days for 2024-25 will be held for children in the New Glarus School District who are ages 2 1/2-5 who are not currently attending school. 4K registration will also be held during these sessions. See the flyer for specific details and how to sign up to attend.

New Glarus 2009 Alumni Parker Gabriel spent time via Zoom this week with our Middle School Students talking to them about how his time at New Glarus has shaped him and how important career planning is. Parker is now a writer for the Denver Broncos. Students were able to ask him questions about his job and what led him to this career. Thank you Parker for taking time out of your busy schedule to spend time with our students!


New Glarus Elementary First Graders took a trip to the Glarner Community Athletic Complex on Thursday. Looks like a great time!
